Record the actions
Record all the actions taken on the platform. This is what will allow you to correlate them with changes in results.
💡Tip: Share the actions implemented from the platform to measure their appreciation with the concerned population.
Measure the impact of your action plan
We suggest you follow these 3 phases to measure the success of your action plan:
Before you launch your action
Are you trying to improve the score on a specific question? Plan to ask it once just before you launch your project, and then regularly as you implement your action plan. That way you can track the score and thus the impact of your actions as you go.
💡Tip: Avoid notions of time in the question ("today"; "this week"; "since last time"). The change in score alone is a measure of change. Find all our tips in this article: Composing a closed question.
During the project
An action plan does not always bring immediate results. Set milestones for your project to track progress and determine for each milestone how long it will take for the impact to be tangible.
Consider surveying your teams between each milestone to better observe the impact that your actions will have on your employees' feelings (after the launch communication; after the first step has been taken; three months later; etc.).
After an action
The impact on the key metric
It is interesting to observe what influence the issue addressed may have on the score of your key metric (the main topic that the whole company wants to improve). Go to the Actions menu and identify the actions that may have contributed to your score improvement!
Your key metric's score goes up right after a quick impact action? You are most likely on the right track.
Estimate the appreciation of the actions taken
When your actions have been shared on the platform, you can evaluate their appreciation thanks to the number of votes 👍 they received from your teams.
To go further, you can also create a specific survey to ask your employees :
- if they noticed that this action was taken,
- if they have any comments (appreciations or improvements to make) following this action.
What if the results are not directly visible?
Don't panic! Evaluate what went well and what may have caused the action plan to fail before attempting to launch another action plan. Your account manager is here to help!
