An attribute is a characteristic of your employees, which allows you to group them together to analyze your results from different angles.
In this article, we will discuss two aspects:
The different types of attributes
The core attributes
The five basic attributes are: last name, first name, email address or personal identifier, language, and active.
ℹ️ The active employee attribute is used to determine if the employee should receive Supermood surveys. You can set an employee to inactive if you do not want the employee to receive Supermood surveys. We recommend that you set an employee as inactive if they are on vacation or on leave (maternity/paternity, sick leave...).
The Supermood attributes
The recommended Supermood attributes are: date of birth, country, gender, manager, date of entry into the company, and expatriate.
These attributes are essential for an efficient analysis of the results.
There are only two dated attributes: the date of entry into the company and the date of birth. These two pieces of information will allow you to analyze your results according to seniority and age group.
The additional attributes
You may also add more specific attributes to better fit your context or organization chart.
Make sure that each attribute value is common to at least 5 collaborators (threshold required to maintain participant confidentiality) or their answers will be hidden.
Here are some examples of attributes you could add:
- Type of contract: permanent, fixed-term, internship, work-study...
- Department: Administration, Marketing, Sales...
- Location: Paris, London...
- Role: Technician, Administrative employee, Sales manager...
The additional attributes can have their values either in text format or in yes/no format.
The use of attributes
Les attributs vous permettent de mieux comprendre l’engagement de vos collaborateurs. Grâce à ces attributs, Supermood vous permettra d’identifier les populations qui fonctionnent particulièrement bien et celles qui ont besoin de plus d’attention.
⚠️ Un attribut ne servant pas à l’analyse des résultats ne pourra pas être intégré comme un attribut filtrable sur Supermood, dans un souci de respect des données personnelles des collaborateurs.
Check the list of coworkers:
You have access to a filtered view of your employees according to an attribute. To do so, use the drop-down menu Filters in the tab, My coworkers.
To filter your results according to a specific attribute, look for the "Filter by" drop-down menu that appears at the top right of the result blocks.
Add or edit attribute values of a collaborator :
When you modify or add a coworker, you also have access to all their attributes to update them. See our article on Adding or modifying a coworker.
Add or modify attribute values for multiple collaborators:
In order to edit or add the information for a large number of employees on the platform, Supermood allows you to import your list of employees via an Excel file.
Be careful not to make mistakes when filling in the attributes, because different entries for the same attribute will lead to the creation of two different groups/values.
For example: "Paris" and "paris" will be considered by the platform as two different values.
