Analyze the SuperLike

The SuperLike analysis page allows you to map the state of peer-to-peer recognition within your organization. It's also a great tool to see where you can focus your efforts if your goal is to align interactions between different teams.

In this article:

🔍 Filters and comparisons

The results displayed are filtered by default on :

  • the last 3 months - you can adjust the period to display only the last SuperLike campaign for example ;

  • your rights perimeter.

Depending on your access level, you can :

  • zoom in on a population to display only the exchanges between this team and the others.

  • analyze exchanges according to your different analysis filters (such as teams, seniority, etc.).

At the flowchart level, you can observe on the left the number of SuperLikes sent and on the right, the number of SuperLikes received by the different teams.

ℹ️ The flows are proportional to the size of the teams, so always remember to put your analysis in perspective with the participation rates.


💡Our recommendation:
To have a targeted analysis, choose up to 2 dimensions of analysis that you will be able to act on if you observe issues related to peer recognition (e.g. encouraging more teamwork, publicly communicating wins).

Let's take an example:

In the case of stores, you will probably see little cross-functional exchange when looking at the comparison graph by "Location", as employees have little contact with other locations.

In this case, you'll get a more targeted analysis by filtering on a facility's population and choosing as a comparison dimension the teams within that facility or a demographic analysis filter such as seniority in the company.

📤 SuperLike sent

On the left side of the graph, move your mouse over the different streams to see the number of SuperLikes sent. The streams are larger or smaller depending on the volume of SuperLikes sent.

It is interesting to identify:

  • active teams - those that send a lot of SuperLikes and thus foster a climate of recognition among peers: thank them for their involvement!

  • teams that participate less - those that send few SuperLikes: encourage them to participate so that they too can foster a climate of trust and recognition among peers.

📥 SuperLike received

On the right side of the graph, you can see the number of SuperLikes that the different teams have received. Also, the streams are larger or smaller depending on the volume of SuperLikes received.

Take a look at :

  • teams highlighted by their peers - those who receive the most SuperLike: feel free to dig into their successes of the moment to highlight them at the group level.

  • isolated teams - teams that receive little SuperLike: you can highlight them if they are doing "behind the scenes work" and encourage more collaboration.

As a manager, don't hesitate to highlight your employees in a formal way so that they feel appreciated for their work: hierarchical recognition is just as important as peer recognition. For example, you can highlight their achievements and efforts during meetings. Use the SuperLike to uncover successes you might have missed (a team that gets a lot of SuperLikes at once can be a sign of nice success.

↔️ Intra and inter-team exchanges

The details of exchanges make it easy for you to spot the siloed teams and the most cooperative teams.

  • Sparkling teams: those that receive and send SuperLikes to different teams. They can be identified by the dispersed flow of exchanges from this team to others.

  • Siloed teams: these are teams that send and receive SuperLikes to collaborators mainly within their direct team. They can be easily identified by horizontal flows of exchanges.

Our recommendation:
If you see a lot of siloed teams, try to find ideas for actions to strengthen the links between the different teams and thus create a broader sense of belonging.

For example, you can set up rituals like random networking over coffee or lunch.

To go further, consider surveying your employees on recognition topics and adding your actions to the platform to measure their impact.
