An email with the status 'queued' indicates that the email has been delivered to the recipient's server (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) but has been placed on a waiting list by the recipient's email server.
There can be several causes of this happening. Among the most common:
The mailbox is full, there is not enough space to store the email. This can be the case when a mailbox is rarely consulted, for example during a vacation period. As soon as the recipient has freed up some space, he can receive the emails that have been placed on the waiting list.
If the problem affects several recipients, it is more likely that the problem comes directly from the SMTP server. You can then contact your IT department with:
- the SMTP response (which will be sent to you by our support team)
- the domain names that we recommend to whitelist, listed in our article: Whitelisting
💡 Tip: To ensure that the user can respond to the current survey anyway, invite them to connect directly to their personal space.
